SEIKO CHRONOGRAPH LC 0634 - 5001
The 0634 caliber was Seiko's first digital LCD chronograph quartz watch. It can display hours (AM/PM), minutes and the day of the month and has a light for the LCD. The chronograph provides a start/stop and a lap function. One of the early models they brought out in the mid '70s. The 0634 series is still one popular vintage digital people are looking for. There are a few other variants in the series, but they all sort of carrying the same look. Two front buttons to control the chronograph functions, light and other setting functions, with no side button on either sides. The casing is a one-piece stainless steel, with a real glass crystal. Very sturdy built.
The glass and case has been polished but in spirit of the Zaratsu design rules. So all the right angles and sharpness of the fold kept clean and crisp. This historical LC looks the part and with it's original steel bracelet it looks quite retro.
